Susan Mullins is a gem. Having lymphedema can be an uncomfortable and frustrating experience. There is no cure and the treatment requires patience and perseverance. Having Susan as your therapist makes all the difference. She is not only knowledgeable but caring and sympathetic. She draws on her personal experience as a lymphedema patient herself, knowing that what she is asking you to do is not easy but the best way to control your condition. She gave me hope that I will be able to sustain the progress made during the first month of aggressive bandaging, while describing a realistic picture of what I can expect if I continue to follow the procedures.
Susan takes the time to contact vendors to make sure that garments she recommends are best suited for your situation. She not only gives massage therapy but helps you to learn how to follow up with massage yourself at home. If you have questions in between sessions she answers in a timely manner, even if that means staying late to do so.
Her therapy office is clean, pleasant and comfortable. You will be in good hands.

I had the pleasure of working with Susan for 2 months, summer of 2023, doing complete decongestive therapy for my stage 4 lipedema and lymphedema (bilateral in my legs). When I first saw her, I was incredibly swollen -- I couldn't walk, and my skin was weeping. Over the course of the 2 months we worked together, I lost 11 liters of fluid from just my calves, and regained so much mobility. All throughout my treatment with Susan, she was such a light. Susan made me feel safe and comfortable in her care every time I saw her. She is incredibly accepting and supportive, and made me feel so at home in her care, even though I was away from my home and support system. I am forever grateful to have gotten to work with her, and she will always have special a place in my heart. Thank you Susan!

Susan Mullins is a beautiful person and a knowledgeable and gifted healing professional. She has been an invaluable resource to me as I have dealt with lymphedema over the past four years. Susan's knowledge of the body as a physical therapist and of the lymphatic system as a specialty, is deep and extensive. She's highly educated and informed on the latest research and techniques and has many interventions in her tool box. I have seen many physical therapists and healers along the way and a fortunate few have a special gift of high sense perception through their hands. Susan is definitely one of these individuals. This high sense perception, combined with her knowledge, personal experience, warmth, empathy and positivity, make her an invaluable ally on the journey of living your best life with lymphedema. I am extremely grateful for my experiences with Susan and couldn't recommend her more highly!

Susan is incredible! It is difficult to find a licensed physical therapist who is also a certified lymphedema therapist. In addition, she has been through cancer treatments and lives her best life with lymphedema so she makes you feel very comfortable and really understands the toll that treatments can take on you. She has gone above and beyond to help me including giving me advice on exercises, compression, and my rehabilitation. I cannot recommend Susan enough and I hope others who have lymphedema or are at a high risk of developing lymphedema are able to go to her because I learn something new after each visit and feel extremely lucky to have her help! You are definitely 5/5 stars!

I have been seeing Susan Mullins for 5 years for lymphedema and lipedema care. I cannot say enough good things about having her as a lymphedema therapist. She is so knowledgeable about the many things that can affect lymphedema. Her treatment goes well beyond MLD and CDT which may include exercise therapy, Lymphatouch, and muscular and skeletal releases. She listens so attentively to what I say to address any issue I may be having. Susan’s private clinic is calming and relaxing, not sterile feeling like typical clinics. I highly recommend Susan Mullins at Mullins Lymphedema Therapy, L.L.C for lymphedema care. She is brilliant!

I am delighted to share my high regard for SUSAN MULLINS of Mullins Lymphedema Therapy. I find her to be reliable, punctual, pleasant and hard working. Here is what distinguishes Susan from other qualified and experienced CLT (Certified Lymphedema Therapist) massage healers: her strong credentialed PT (physical therapy) skills, her background with her own lymphedema, the availability of a LymphaTouch negative pressure cupping device, her new and comfortable home-based clinic setting and the option of 60 or 90 minute sessions. Susan Mullins is an exceptional health care professional!
